Every year, YALSA hosts a Teens’ Top Ten polling where teens nominate and choose what books they think are the top ten of the year. The nominators are from books groups in 16 high schools and public libraries across the country, and every year YALSA announces the winning list during Teen Read Week.

Guess what?!?!

The list came out yesterday, and I bet you’re wondering what made it……

Divergent | Veronica Roth
The Fault in Our Stars | John Green
Legend | Marie Lu
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children | Ransom Riggs
What Happened to Goodbye | Sarah Dessen
Across the Universe | Beth Revis
Cinder | Marissa Meyer
The Scorpio Races | Maggie Stiefvater
Where She Went | Gayle Forman
Abandon | Meg Cabot

Book Talk:  How excited are you about this list? What have/haven’t you read? Any surprises? What’s your absolute favorite on the list? What (in your eyes) should have been made it?
