In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren that allows people to share what books they have received during the week.
This week’s trip to the library brought some more middle grade fun and spooky Halloween reads! So basically I’m reading like crazy.
I also received a couple of books for review that I am extremely excited about, and some more goodies from ARCycling. It’s an older book, but a middle grade sci-fi. Heck yes.
Last but not least…a new book purchase that sort of rocks my socks off!
Without further adieu, here are my books from the week:

The Spindlers by Lauren Oliver

Last night the hubs and I went on a date to the bookstore, and I sort of depleted my book savings for the month. I was fortunate enough to receive an autographed book plate from Shannon Messenger last week so I HAD to finally get the book to display it in. Nerdy me was doubly excited when I opened the mail because I have been anticipating her debut middle grade novel for awhile, and this is my first author autograph!
Best. Thing. Ever.
How was your haul this week?
Hopeful reading everyone!

I’ve heard a lot about Spindlers, I look forward to seeing how you like it. I haven’t read anything by that author yet, but a lot of people seem to really like her books.

I’ve only heard good things too! I read Oliver’s YA series Delirium book 1 & 2 and wasn’t a fan… but I thought I’d take a shot at her MG novels to see how her writing differs.

And A Tale Dark and Grimm is super fun. I hope you like it.
