Gah! I cannot narrow it down to just ten….
Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. They like lists over there, and what's more fun than lists about books?
Up for discussion this week is….
Top Ten Books I Read In 2012
I have read so many good books this year–especially since this is the year I started blogging. My TBR pile skyrocketed, and I discovered new genres, new authors, and new loves. In no particular order… here are my favorite reads of 2012.
1. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor (my review)
2. & 3. Heist Society/Uncommon Criminals by Ally Carter
4. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater (my review)
5. The Selection by Kiera Cass (my review)
6. Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson (my review)
7. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo (my review)
8. Summer of the Gypsy Moths by Sara Pennypacker (my review)
9. The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart (my rec)
10. The Palace of Laughter by Jon Berkeley (my review)
Honorable mentions definitely go to: Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver, Insurgent by Veronica Roth, Reached by Ally Condie, (my review) and Wrapped by Jennifer Bradbury (my review.)
Technically, that still leaves me with my official Top Ten.
Book Talk: How many of these novels made it onto your Top Ten reads for 2012? Or did you cheat like me and slip in a few extras?
Hopeful reading everyone!

The Selection is wonderful and the cover for The Elite is just as beautiful!

I love The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, so much so that I considered naming my first daughter Frankie (not likely to happen).

Oh my gosh… I love the name Frankie for a girl, but I think I would get outvoted 🙂

Oooh very excellent list! (I’m looking at you, Heist Society/Shadow and Bone/Tiger Lily)
I still need to read Frankie! I’ve heard so many good things!! Can’t wait to get to Uncommon Criminals and The Raven Boys as well 🙂
