I knew April was going to be crazy for me with school, but not THIS crazy.
Guys, I’ve reached the point of ridiculousness as in the giggles come freely and my brain is pretty much mush.
Yesterday, I happened to realize that I had lost all of the work I had done on Friday (which was hours of stuff) and the breakdown sobbing commenced. It’s a good thing I also had my book club meeting to refresh myself, AND I discovered The Book Barn.
AKA exactly what it sounds like–a fabulous used book store in my area.
My haul is small this week though because I’m trying to conserve my brain this week as I finish up school. I’m looking forward to my library pick because the author is from my neck of the woods which gives me hope that I don’t have to be from a big city to be a writer! And I’m starting my collection of a really great MG mystery/detective series I love.
It’s so time for the summer reading to start!
Without further adieu, here are my reads for the week!
Tempest by Julie Cross
Gilda Joyce: Psychic Investigator by Jennifer Allison
How was your haul this week?
