Hey, I just met you… and this is crazy….
But here’s my cover… so read me maybe.
Today is a special round of Cover Love!
I call it – Release Day Cover Love
I know. Real original. BUT… I’m super excited about Laini Taylor’s book coming out today, and I wanted to share it with you!
Isn’t it just beautiful?!?
If you’ve been around the blog for awhile, then you know how much I’ve been pimping Daughter of Smoke and Bone. If you haven’t read it yet, stop whatever you are doing and GO READ IT NOW!
I’m serious.
Days of Blood and Starlight is obviously book two… and you can’t wait much longer because my eventual review will spoil everything for you. Don’t worry… I didn’t get an advanced copy, my book budget is on hold, and I’m pretty sure I’m one billion twenty seventh in line, so you’ve got a little time to read.
But until then…whether you’ve read book one or not….
Based on the cover alone,
what do you think the story is?
If you have read the story (meaning….book one or perhaps an advanced copy,)
what was your impression of the cover before you dove into the pages? What did you think the story was?
After your comment, feel free to head over to the Goodreads page and check out the synopsis!
And ps… how excited are you for this book?!?!? (I think it’s #1 release-I’m-looking-forward-too-this-fall.)
Hopeful reading!

I’ve GOT to read the first one! The cover reveal of this book was what drew me to the series, but I still haven’t read the first one. Dah!

Hmmm… Something sinister, something with romance, lots of intrigue, and I kind of want to say something to do with like a carnival or circus—but I’m probably way off base with that. Maybe the carnival feel has something to do with powers or magic. Now I’m curious. But yeah, it’s definitely a cool book cover. Her eyes are great, but the title too is quite attractive to the eye. All right, pausing to go over to Good Reads and see if I got any amounts of close…
Haha, did pretty good I think. No carnival as far as I can tell though. Still, close enough. Thanks, I love playing this game! 😀

They certainly are. Not only do I get exposure to new books and great covers, it’s just plain fun. I’ll be back, as always, for more. 😀
